I am a dual certified health and wellness coach, a mom, a part time corporate wellness coach and a self-proclaimed science nerd. I have a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology with a minor in criminal justice, and certificates in both sports’ nutrition and health coaching. I worked in the pharmaceutical industry as a sales representative studying many different disease states for over 15 years.
I am driven by my passion for understanding how our bodies utilize nutrients as fuel and how in doing so we can create healthy eating habits. I believe that through nutrition, movement, and conscious thought we can create a much-needed balance of mind, body, and spirit. I have learned through my own experiences how difficult this can be and have learned ways to make it easier for others to do so.
I am a mother of 2 very active teen boys with whom I have been able to spend time with while studying my passion. I am an avid reader, fitness enthusiast, traveler, and sharer of all things awesome! I think the best way to become better is to set a goal and challenge yourself! I have completed a marathon, a couple of half marathons, an endurance ride for charity, a couple of sprint triathlons, and a few obstacle races. I continue to run, exercise, weight train and find ways to challenge myself both personally and professionally and my hope is to do the same for you!
